Glossary- The science of artificial intelligence (AI), which is expanding quickly, has completely changed how we see technology and its possibilities. It entails the creation of computer systems that are capable of carrying out operations that ordinarily need human intellect, such as speech recognition, visual perception, decision-making, and language translation.

AI glossary

Welcome to the landing page for the AI glossary! In this article, we seek to define the most frequently used technical words in the area of artificial intelligence in a straightforward and succinct manner.

The term “artificial intelligence,” or “AI,” refers to the creation of computer systems that are capable of carrying out operations that traditionally require human intelligence, such as speech recognition, decision-making, visual perception, and language translation.

Using algorithms and statistical models, machine learning is a subset of artificial intelligence that enables a system to continuously improve its performance on a given job without being explicitly taught.

Artificial neural networks are used in Deep Learning, a branch of machine learning, to model and resolve complicated issues. Because there are numerous hidden layers between the input and output levels, these networks are referred to as “deep.”

A form of machine learning model called a neural network is based on how the human brain is organised. It is made up of nodes that are connected and process data and produce outputs.

Supervised learning is a sort of machine learning where the system learns to predict the output for a new set of inputs based on the patterns it has learnt from the training data. The system is trained on a labelled dataset in this type of learning.

Unsupervised learning is a sort of machine learning in which the system is given a dataset without any labels and is expected to identify patterns or relationships on its own.

A type of machine learning called reinforcement learning involves the system making mistakes and learning from them by acting in the environment and obtaining rewards or punishments.
